Carl Scott is a long time resident of the Community of Ucluelet. He chose Real Estate as his profession using the skills & experience he developed from a long management career in the fishing industry.

He is an active owner in RE/MAX Mid-Island Realty working in West Coast Real Estate Sales and Property Management. He assists Realtor Linda Pettinger in her office in Tofino part-time, an opportunity that has allowed him to broaden his horizons and experience in both communities, Ucluelet & Tofino.

His community activities include active participation on the Board of Directors of the Seaview Seniors Housing Society. He volunteered as a board member of the West Coast Sustainability Association, sat on the Fisheries & Oceans Hake Subcomittee and was active with the Hake Onshore Coalition, all advocacy positions, working towards sustainable fisheries on the West Coast.

Recreation includes the avid pursuit of powder skiing on Vancouver Island and elsewhere in B.C. as well as canoeing and fly-fishing.
